Tabdeeli as it is known in Pakistan in its literal terms means change, a slogan that has become the center of Politics in Pakistan for the Past few years and which inspires with a message of change in every walk of life , from the political lifestyles to Political way of dealing Tabdeeli is now the talk of the town and one Political entity known as Pakistan Tehreek Insaf has been the torch bearer of this Stance, but lets really break it down is Tabdeeli on its way in Pakistan or is it another Political stunt aiming at a more aggressive shot on power ?
But Keeping in mind the recent stances of PTI Lead Government Tabdeeli is far from its original meaning and concept in Pakistan, Lets Take a few indicators the newly incumbent Punjab Government has reverted to its old tactics to malign the Civil circles and Bureaucracy Under the Umbrella of Directives from CM Punjab , lets leave this one lets go a step further a party which continuously during its election campaign talked about taking Pakistan out of the traps of IMF, itself reverted back to the loans of IMF. Thus the narrative of Tabdeeli or change just remains a hoax when itself the Government is using the same old tactics the previous Governments used. The Relationship between PTI And IMF Currently revolves around a Typical relationship vibe where IMF Wants to break up with Pakistan but , Pakistans current government wants to hang like a stubborn ex.
Lets take another Indicator Imran Khan from the start of his Political Journey has been against the Appointments of People based on close relations , family ties , Dynasty Politics, dual nationals etc and after less than a month of getting into Power Imran Khan Appointed Zulfi Bukhari as the National Adviser to the Prime Minister , but we dont need to worry on this one too because Tabdeeli surely is on its way but it will take some time, because Khan Sahab and his definition of Tabdeeli is going under a big transformation.
It is disappointing for the fact that the Party who campaigned to change Pakistan for the better is now itself becoming a part of the same old rotten Political ideology that has damaged Pakistan for the last 70 Years, the Previous Governments did whatever they could to make themselves better withstanding how much damage their actions led to the National interests , but at the same time it is the PTI Who has portrayed itself as the Savior of Pakistani Nation with its Plethora of Promises that aim at taking Pakistan out of the Hurricane , but with recent directions of the PTI Government change needs to change its name to Hypocrisy and dual standards.
It’s only been a couple of months since Imran took charge, yet it seems what he needs most right now is a bit of soul searching, as every appointment and every decision of his government only fuels controversy and makes us all wonder when the mythical NayaPakistan willl come into fruition.
