Criticism, Point Scoring and a continuous Rhetoric in the past few days that has aimed to defame the Current Government for its inability to tackle the Economic Burden Pakistan is facing but realistically and figuratively its not all due to the Policies of Imran Khan, The Past 10 Years were an economic disaster for Pakistan and have led to the circumstances we are facing today.

In Pakistan, the challenge of stabilizing domestic economic growth has brought the country’s major institutions on together temporarily. For now, the country’s struggling economy has put domestic institutional feuds on hold. The situation has placed the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf party in a position where it faces no significant threats in terms of the government being isolated or destabilized due to the intentional policies of any state institution.

One can argue that the state has put its weight behind Prime Minister Imran Khan due to the overall worsening economic conditions. Pakistan’s foreign reserves have fallen to a level that it can only afford import bills up to around two to three months from now. This situation remains even after the insertion of recent funds from states such as China, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.

And, to be fair to Imran, inheriting this economy must have been an 'out of the frying pan, into the fire' experience for him. The rupee was already collapsing, interest rates were rising, the equity market had crashed many times over because of the Panama case anxiety and serious foreign investors had long since packed up and left. Whether or not delaying structured IMF aid for ad hoc friendly bailouts was the right thing to do is a debate for another day, but it's a fair argument that when the fire's spreading you take whatever water you can get.

If Khan actually changes Pakistan in the ways that he has promised, it will be a greater miracle than any of those he achieved on the cricket pitch.

We have yet to see any groundbreaking ceremonies for mega infrastructure projects or a new scheme that needed funds. The inability of the federal government in devising a concrete economic plan and adopting financial policies may be termed a major obstacle in its way as it tries to attract investment. And then there are the billions of dollars we have received from the oil rich Gulf States. Where has that amount been spent? No one – not even the parliament – has been taken into confidence regarding this matter, which makes this even more disconcerting. Why are we not witnessing the transparency we were promised?

Perhaps the devaluation of the Pakistani currency and the rising interest rates by the State Bank have contributed to the deficit growing larger than predicted, which is why the PTI government is borrowing heavily. However, till when will the government keep borrowing or printing notes, when it has in the past admitted that neither of these are workable solutions? The problem lies with the mindset of the PTI, which is not ready to admit that it is unable to understand the dynamics of the economy, and instead of debating the issue in parliament, it is only wasting everyone’s time by playing the same old blame game.

PTI’s financial Elsa, like Asad Umar, and its supremo Imran Khan used to tell the nation they have the formula to fix things in the blink of an eye. Most sane heads did not believe them then either, because it is simply not possible for anyone to wave a magic wand and fix something as broken as the economy or the system of Pakistan. However, in more than six months of governance, the PTI has only managed to wave its magic wand to make things worse for all Pakistanis, without providing even a glimpse of its plan for getting out of this debt trap.

Imran and his cabinet need to realise that the clock is ticking, and merely bashing opponents might convince their blind followers that everything is alright, but it will not change the reality that the government has no plan of its own to thwart the current economic crisis and to get out of this debt trap. History is a very Cruel Teacher It Returns and by then its already too late.

Aseefa A Better Choice.

Living in a patriarchal society, this might not be an issue for most who dwell in Pakistan. This sight is all too common for them – the son getting a bigger platform to showcase his skills whereas the daughter is side-lined to a smaller stage, overshadowed by her brother. But should we expect the same trend from one of the biggest political parties in the country? Is this acceptable treatment for the daughter of a woman who broke the highest glass ceiling in Pakistani politics?

It shouldn’t be.

Moreover, this is unfair treatment towards Aseefa, not just by virtue of her being a woman or Benazir daughter. Over the past few years, Aseefa has shown her merit to become a formidable leader for the party. She has raised her voice for party workers, questioned her father’s choices, and shown great interest in the politics of her country. The case is not the same for her other siblings; in fact, Bilawal was criticized during the 2018 Elections for his lackluster presence, which might have caused further damage to the party, combined with his father’s dismal performance in the prior tenure. Bilawal Failed to Generate the much needed hype that failed to boost the credentials of PPP In the 2018 Elections

During her recent campaign for her brother, a few pictures were released that showed her interacting with her supporters the same way her mother used to mingle with them, making them feel special. Benazir, like her father, knew that it is the PPP workers and supporters that make the party a powerful force. Zardari and his party leaders did not place the same importance on their supporters, and this has led to the terrible performance of PPP

 in recent years. Perhaps with Aseefa, PPP has a new ray of hope to reconnect with its voter base.

Discarding Aseefa for her parents’ sins is unfair. She is young, and might be able to bring exactly the kind of new perspective that Pakistani politics needs today. Aseefa deserves a greater share in the limelight, because she is a much more promising leader than her brother might be or her father has ever been.

100 Days ( A Critical Review).

Imran Khan is one again the talk of the town and this time it is the stir around the Performance of his Government in Power, The PTI Lead Government has completed 100 Days in Power and has received a Mixed Reaction from the Critics, From Kashmir at the heart of the foreign policy to Taking a Definite stance at Trump accusations Imran Khan has played very well at the foreign Policy showdowns and one must give credit to the Foreign Minister for once again Bringing Pakistan into limelight.

The Foreign Arena is a Place where Pakistan has considerably Improved its Position, from strong diplomacy with Saudi Arabia UAE And China to Financially Boost the Current Account situations in Pakistan and to take the economy out of Hurdles Khans Government has Played its part in combating the issue of Economy temporarily. In Addition to that Imran Khan had a heated spat of words with Donald Trump the latter being totally unaware of The contributions of Pakistan in the War against Terror received somewhat of a History Lesson from the Pakistani Premier and that worked with the Pakistani media making Khan once again the leader of the so called Muslim Brotherhood which apparently is not the case.

When it comes to Internal Political Issues in Pakistan PTI Has been in Hot waters since the moment it came into Power, the tussle over the Public Accounts Committee, the cases against Bani gala Land Allotment, The corruption myths behind Aleem Khan, the Property Investigations against Aleema Khan and her impending Properties in Dubai, PTI Government has been Playing the Dual Standards game with the Help of NAB Which has now turned itself into a Robot running over the orders of PM Imran Khan. With Fierce criticism from PML N Over the lack of concrete solutions and Failing to deliver on the Promises made by PM Imran Khan, PTI And PML N Have been battling over the forefront and while PML N Leaders are being confronted , Jailed and Investigated for their Impending cases PTI Itself has failed to make significant Progress against its own Black sheeps.

Economic Challenges and Imran Khan are still a better love story than Twilight only if the former is too realistic to be true, Imran khans government though getting the Bailouts from Saudi Arabia and China has temporarily Eased the Current Account Deficit but its a temporary Injection to a faulty economy at hand, While many believe that Imran Khan has the Magical ability to bring long lasting Economic stability the Govt surely isn't going in the right direction to tackle the issue, with Rupee facing considerable losses against Dollar by each passing day Economists have already warned that the Pakistani Economy might be on a brink of collapse if the Doctor isn't going to recommend a Proper Medication.

100 Days of PTI Government have received mixed reviews from the People, with many Complaining about the Price Hikes and Lack of Proper Economic Planning with many criticizing Governments lack to Provide Jobs and Shelter at the earliest and with a lot of talk around U Turns , the PTI Lead Government needs to realize that sooner or later there is going to accountability and those who have brought Khan in Power will be the first ones to ask the questions.

The fruits of these efforts cannot be gauged before a considerable time has passed. Imran Khan and his team are coming to grips with administration of Pakistan. Successes as well as failures are bound to occur side by side. Yes, there is no doubt that the mark has been missed, the 100 days agenda stands unfulfilled. But it is evident that Imran Khan is growing in his vision and experience. The country, at the moment, needs unity as well as faith. This time around its Imran Khan and his PTI Lead Government that are putting in their efforts to take Pakistan out of the Economic Turmoil but its easy said then done in the reality.

Khan has also promised to recover funds stashed abroad by corrupt officials, and embarked on a series of populist austerity measures such as auctioning luxury cars owned by the prime minister's house and crowdfunding to build a dam in the country's north. He has also vowed to turn around loss-making state-run enterprises and reform tax collection.

It is not the first time that a Pakistani head of government has launched an austerity drive. In the early 1980s, ex-military dictator General Zia promoted the idea of "Islamic simplicity" as opposed to liberal governance. Former premiers Mohammad Khan Junejo and Nawaz Sharif also publicized their austerity measures in the late 1980s and the 1990s, respectively. All these efforts did not yield any substantial result.

The drive, which involves less government spending on VIP protocols, has created a ripple of excitement among the citizens, who have long criticized the past leaders' lavish lifestyle.

But economists say the government's austerity campaign is not more than a populist stunt that amounts to misleading people on how the government intends to deal with serious economic issues.

Pakistan is currently at the brink of collapse with Current account deficits reaching all time high and Pakistani Rupee depreciating all time high its high time the Government Puts forward a Plan that aims at Putting an Economic Emergency in Pakistan to solve the current issue at hand.

Pakistan's financial debt is currently estimated at $95.097 billion (€81.34 billion). The South Asian country needs $24 billion every year for debt servicing.

The country's trade deficit is also skyrocketing — $37.7 billion in the 2018 fiscal year. In the same fiscal year, Pakistan spent a whopping $60.9 billion on imports, with a big chunk going to the import of machinery for the China-led multi billion-dollar Pakistan-China Economic Corridor (CPEC) infrastructure development initiative.

Pakistani businessmen complain that the government is giving preferential treatment to Chinese companies, whose cheaper products have flooded Pakistani markets and crippled their businesses. The deals of CPEC Are though a game changer for the Pakistani economy in the long run but has started to cripple the local businesses at the short run.

Austerity drive cutting down the expenses , not adopting a luxurious lifestyle are very commendable efforts but at the same time there needs to be a bigger solution that tends to solve Pakistan's economic crisis at hand.

There is no doubt in the sincere efforts the Prime Minister is making in Reviving the Economic betterment of Pakistan, from Economic bailouts from  Saudi Arabia and China to negotiations with IMF , his intent his clear but with every bailout package there comes a Political aspect and time will tell whether these Economic bailouts were a sincere effort to help Pakistan or to utilize the Geo strategic Position of Pakistan for Political gains.
